Dr. Bobby Pankey of Clinton, MS Received SCO Hayes Center Practice Award
Southern College of Optometry Four outstanding young alumni were presented last week with the Third Annual Hayes Center for Practice Excellence Awards. Given to SCO alumni who have graduated within the last decade, the awards are presented to alumni who have demonstrated practice management skills by meeting a number of independently verified benchmarks. Hayes Center Director Lisa Wade, OD '84, presented the awards during a new two-day program designed to help third-year students successfully transition into their externship rotations. |
Dr. Bobby Pankey is originally from Starkville, MS. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2000 and Southern College of Optometry in 2005. He has been practicing in Clinton since he graduated. He is married to Erin Pankey and they have four children. Dr. Pankey is a member of the MOA and AOA. In Dr. Pankey's spare time he likes to work on old cars and spending time with his family. You can usually find him at any local car show.

Erin Pankey
Erin Pankey, manager, is originally from Pennsylvania. She has been an ABO certified optician since 1996. She currently resides in Clinton. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. You'll find her alongside Dr. Pankey at the local car shows.

Amy Mosley, Certified Paraoptometric and insurance clerk. Amy is from Clinton, MS. She is married and the mother of one precious boy. She has been employed at Optical 2000 since 2003. In her spare time she enjoys reading.

Bryana Andrews, Optometric Technician. Bryana is married to Brandon Andrews. They have two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.

David Beck, optician, ABO certified. David has been employed at Optical 2000 since 2011. He is married with two children. In his free the he likes to listen to music and play bass guitar.

Kalyn Fournier
Kalyn Fournier, Office Manager and Certified Paraoptometric. Kalyn graduated from Clinton HS in 2008 and attended Holmes CC majoring in Business Administration. She has been employed at Optical 2000 since 2008. She has a precious little boy, Raylan. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, and being with friends and family.

Ashley Pickering, Certified Paraoptometric. Graduated from Mississippi College in the Fall of 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an emphasis in research. Loves being different, contemplative about random things and relaxing.
